The Campaign Data Developer is responsible for the execution of marketing/sales campaigns. Under the direction of the Campaign Development Manager, this position is expected to execute marketing/sales campaigns by following set processes to ensure that tasks are completed accurately, on time and that they meet business objectives.

 

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities

The job functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

 

  • Executing the scheduled campaigns
    • Support the List Development team and MarCom/Marketing/Sales to identify and execute all campaign marketing/sales activities for their products and support annual marketing/sales campaign goals
    • Provide ongoing status on marketing/sales emails to the Marketing Campaign team
    • Use all abilities of list extraction system
  • Managing campaign workflow process
    • Manage all assigned marketing/sales campaigns
    • Obtain an 80% weekly goal of delivering estimated and final list counts to agreed deadlines
    • Create and complete 5 to 7 list extractions (direct mail and/or email) a day and meet all service level agreements with MarCom
    • Collaborate with MarCom and other key stakeholders to complete campaign related documentations, such as Sharepoint Campaign Form and Campaign Brief
    • Collaborate with MarCom and Campaign Development team on streamlining processes
    • Provide ongoing status on campaign workflow development to Campaign Development team and to MarCom
    • Escalate any issues with campaigns to Campaign Development Manager
  • Creative development and production oversight
    • Ensure the campaign form and brief are complete with all documentation
    • Obtain appropriate approvals as agreed throughout campaign processes and ensure campaigns are executed on time
    • Ability to cross train with Email Developer as needed to better understand and support each others’ roles

Qualifications & Education

Any combination equivalent to, but not limited to, the following:

 

Required: 

  • Four year college degree, preferably in a related field
  • Data manipulation experience doing data extraction using SQL or similar programs.
  • Working experience in Excel and specifically with Vlook ups, pivot tables and filtering

Preferred:

  • Demonstrates strong analytical skills
  • Computer literacy including expert level knowledge of PC spreadsheets and working knowledge of database software; SQL language preferred; Cognos experience desired
  • Detail orientation
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts and processes to non-technical staff
  • Flexibility and adaptability (ability to deal with changing conditions)
