    The Video Asset Curator supports the Global Digital Production Department in logging, tracking, documenting, and editing digital assets, both original and licensed. This role requires keen organizational abilities, attention to detail, and time management. 

    Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities

    The job functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

    • Watch, assess, and perform edits as needed on raw footage to cut down and save all usable material for future projects
    • Catalog assets, including indexing and tagging for bibliographic and subject metadata
    • Upload assets to management system
    • Contribute to developing and maintaining a cataloging and archival system for videos and images
    • Pull stock images and stock video footage from online providers and upload to the relevant work project folders
    • Keep a Rights Log of stock images and video footage licensing agreements
    • Utilize knowledge of video archive to recommend footage for inclusion in projects or to suggest ideas for B-roll creation

    Qualifications & Education

    • One year of experience and proficiency in cataloguing, indexing, or other metadata management required
    • Experience with Digital Asset Management systems required
    • Video editing experience required
    • Experience with the creation and application of metadata standards, controller vocabularies and attribute relationships
    • Skill in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects

      Expertise in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and SharePoint
    • Experience with project management programs such as JIRA and Confluence preferred
