  • Overview

    The Marketing Intern provides administrative support to the Corwin Classroom Marketing team, including campaign support, creating flyers, shipping, filing, and data entry. This position works with internal and external contacts at multiple levels within the organization. 

    Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities

    The job functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

    • Creating author flyers
    • Responsible for creating marketing campaigns in Marketing Materials
    • Working with outside printers for various items, such as posters and conference materials
    • Entering promotion results in campaign briefs, annual promo results document, and other reports as needed
    • Tracking monthly email stats for the Corwin Classroom team
    • Assist with social media campaigns
    • Work with the video production team to reivew and edit marketing videos
    • Proofreading marketing materials
    • Working with freelance copywriters and assigning projects
    • Distributing incoming mail for Marketing departments
    • Handling outgoing packages
    • Compiling documentation packets
    • Maintaining inventory and organization of marketing materials kept in-house
    • Shipping review copies
    • Photocopying as needed
    • Other administrative tasks as needed

    Qualifications & Education

    Any combination equivalent to, but not limited to, the following:

    • Pursuing an undergraduate or graudate degree at an accreditied college or university
    • Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Superior planning, organization, and proven experience with prioritization of assigned tasks and projects
