  • Overview

    We are looking for an exceptional, highly organised and ambitious sale professional to join the UK HE Sales team. This role would be ideal for a graduate or professional looking to further their career in Higher Education publishing sales. The role will be based in territory.

    Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities

    • To identify and build relationships with all relevant lecturers in the key institutions in the London and SE territory, using a consultative selling approach. Maintain and win new textbook/digital adoptions/solutions. Always working towards reaching and exceeding the annual sales target.
    • To be efficient in all areas of their work, communicating regularly with lecturers, SAGE sales, marketing and editorial colleagues to ensure all new revenue opportunities are prioritised and managed effectively.
    • To provide regular qualitative feedback to the sales, marketing and editorial departments on market conditions, competitor activity and SAGE textbook performance.
    • To manage CRM on a daily basis so that the qualitative and quantitative data provided is up to date and accurate.
    • To create business plans based on yearly targets.
    • To attend all sales conferences, smaller team meetings and sales training dates.

    Qualifications & Education

    • Degree educated.
    • Experience in a sales or marketing role within a publishing context is highly desired.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft office and Dynamics 365
