  • Overview

    This role will be responsible for supervising a team of analysts dedicated to providing stakeholders with reports and analysis to monitor books product sales and territory performance.

    Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities

    • Provide guidance and support to direct reports to align with management, stakeholders, and IT initiatives
    • Supervise team workload to ensure compliance with established Service Level Agreements (Expectations)
    • Provide guidance to books reporting team to consistently evaluate and improve performance
    • Strategize new opportunities to streamline and automate report delivery
    • Collaborate with sales management team to identify and propose new metrics for changes in the business
    • Maintain a focus on inspiring direct reports to be accountable and strive for continuous improvement
    • Engage with other analytical or reporting groups to identify best practice and synergies
    • Proactively identify reporting needs of sales
    • Provide data support for critical sales and customer service processes
    • Produce reports and analysis that translate data into meaningful sources of information

    Qualifications & Education


    • Ability to supervise team workload and communicate team performance to stakeholders
    • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills with the ability to work on a number of projects at the same time
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate findings articulately and relate findings to business objectives
    • Ability to explain complex concepts in plain language
    • Ability to prioritize and supervise daily ongoing work requirements without close supervision

    • Excellent organization and time management

    • Ability to motivate a team.  Be people-centered, supportive and flexible in order to establish trust and get the most of the team

    • Ability to supervise remote or global teams through use of technology and communication tools

    • Ability to work under pressure


    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
    • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) applications
    • 5+ years of reporting and analytics experience
    • 2+ years analytical experience in a sales organization
    • Experience of using business intelligence tools such as IBM Cognos.
    • Advanced proficiency in Excel (including VBA, Advanced Data Querying, and Pivot Tables)
    • Fluency with SQL Server/T-SQL/SQL (Primarily Data Manipulation Language Elements)
    • Advances proficiency MS Office applications
