The District Sales Manager, Field (DSM) manages a team of 7-9 territory-based field sales representatives within an assigned geographic district. This position requires weekly overnight travel - approximately 50% during selling seasons. Key responsibilities include hiring, training, and development of sales team members to achieve success and exceed sales goals in their personal territories, as well as the district as a whole. DSM is expected to manage productivity & results-based metrics and ensure all reps are reaching or exceeding departmental standards. Extensive campus travel and regular coaching/communication with reps is required. DSM must also coordinate activities of sales specialists and other internal stakeholders to help assigned reps close business and drive new revenue within the district.
