    Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities

    Your new role

    You will be the Library Marketing Manager for SAGE Journals in US & Canada and will have responsibility for:

    • All marketing and sales driving initiatives in the North American marketing with special focus on the eastern United States
    • Partnering with Sales to maximize new and existing opportunities to drive revenue
    • Working with your UK counterpart to devise an effective global marketing strategy
    • Creating innovative campaigns that engage your audience, drive usage, & generate leads
    • Analyzing customer data to identify opportunities for new business, upsell, & cross-sell
    • A natural reporter of results using common Marketing and Sales terminology

    Qualifications & Education

    Include, but not limited to, the following:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or Business disciplines.
    • 2+ years experience in publishing, marketing, and/or sales. 
    • Library market experience a plus
    • Proven success in previous positions by means of initiative execution or revenue goal achievement.
    • A proven proactive, problem-solver approach & excellent organizational skills.
