Develop end-to-end customer journeys using our marketing automation platform. Play an active role in the development and implementation of best email practices, team processes and protocols and marcomm strategies within the team. Lead and contribute to projects and initiatives in support of the department goals.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities

  • Use understanding of customer lifecycles and open access strategy to develop and implement complex customer journeys and drive submissions, usage, and awareness. Map journey flows and messaging, and achieve buy-in with stakeholders.
  • Manage all aspects of campaigns, including scheduling, copywriting, audience targeting, editing, proofreading, deploying, and analysis.
  • Build email campaigns in Dreamweaver using existing HTML template library.
  • Complete technical builds of journeys in our marketing platform Selligent and manage related aspects including data tables and web tags.
  • Act as the Selligent Subject Matter Expert for the Researcher Marcomm team, assist with troubleshooting, and escalate issues as needed.
  • Oversee campaign cadence management for Researcher team.
  • Recommend campaign testing strategies and ensure the execution and analysis of tests to inform improvements to marketing activities.
  • Proactively make recommendations to improve and automate processes.
  • Play an active role in building the profile of the team within the wider business.
  • Lead on initiatives, programs and projects that have a business level impact and contribute to achieving the overall objectives of the team.

Qualifications & Education

  • Strong experience and technical skills in marketing automation platforms.
  • Experience of planning, implementing and measuring digital marketing campaigns.
  • Knowledge of HTML and experience managing complex email campaigns.
  • Experience building effective customer journeys.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and good presentation skills.
  • A high level of accuracy and keen attention to detail, especially regarding proofreading.
  • Strong organisational skills for managing multiple projects, deadlines, and expectations.
  • Solutions-focussed approach and demonstrated creativity in problem solving.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret results to make recommendations.
