Overview

The Temporary Learning and Development (L&D) Facilitator is responsible for developing and implementing company-wide learning programs for ongoing skill development of employees at all levels of the organization to enhance performance at Sage. The temporary L&D Facilitator will identify and source suitable learning solutions with creative training designs and implement effective methods to educate, develop, and enhance employee performance. The temporary L&D Facilitator will support learning transfer through specific follow-up methods identified to reinforce.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities

Learning Programs

  • Propose, develop, and facilitate instructor-led workshops that result in performance and skill development of employees.
  • Serve as internal project lead on the development of learning solutions and develop innovative, creative, and learner-centered development program materials including facilitator guides, participant manuals, and support materials using a variety of media.
  • Serve as the primary administrator of the Sage Learn program and learning management system (LMS), including the managing day-to-day activity, maintaining the 12-month calendar of course offerings, and organizing the use of technology, equipment, space, and facilities for all internally and externally facilitated programs.
  • Ensure that Sage Learn deliverables produced meet quality, cost, and time standards to impact organizational goals.
  • Develop and maintain tracking and reporting systems (when possible, through Sage Learn); create and administer learning effectiveness surveys to learners; and gather, summarize, analyze, incorporate, and share feedback to ensure quality and effectiveness of learning programs on employee development and performance.
  • Propose enhancements for ongoing development of L&D program, learning design, and delivery of learning workshops.
  • Follow up with learners before and after workshops and address attendance issues as needed.
  • Administer details of on-site and virtual learning opportunities including prework, handling learner enrollment, room reservations, facilitator confirmations, and food (when needed).
  • Source external training and establish and manage vendor relationships. Submit vendor receipts and invoices to Director, OD.
  • Host vendor-led workshops (on-site and virtual) and ensure prework, training materials, and post-learning resources are shared in a timely manner, both with learners and vendors.
  • Manage new employee orientation, training, and understanding of the Sage Learn LMS and the Sage Perform platform.
  • Develop global and regional learning tracks in Sage Learn that promote and encourage continued participation in learning opportunities.
  • Coordinate existing and new learning curriculum, both internal and vendor-provided, with global L&D partners to ensure consistent and equitable offerings globally.
  • Work with the Office of DEI to support DEI-related learning opportunities.

 

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Assist with the U.S. L&D SharePoint site to ensure content is current, relevant, and accessible, including working links and document downloads; and
  • Other duties as assigned and appropriate.

Qualifications & Education

  • Must be professional and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be highly efficient organization and have excellent record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional decorum in representing HR and OD with all levels of the organization and in all environments.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment at a high level of competence.
  • Actively seeks and is welcoming of developmental feedback; demonstrates a growth mindset and a learning orientation to self and life.
  • Ability to align business needs with learning programs.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills, including active listening.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interface effectively with all levels of employees.
  • Knowledge of adult learning, instructional design, and curriculum development techniques.
  • Knowledge and demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in course design, materials, and delivery.
  • Highly motivated initiative-taker who can effectively prioritize, multitask, and accomplish deadlines within tight deadlines.
  • Strong focus on data collection and analysis to drive decisions, plans, and prioritization.
  • Initiative and proactive in evaluating effectiveness of learning transfer and return on investment.
  • Experience and proven success in designing, developing, and presenting original curriculum.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including PowerPoint and Excel

Compensation at Sage is influenced by several factors, including but not limited to skill set, nature and level of experience, qualifications, and other relevant considerations. We anticipate the hourly range for this role to be between $30.29 - $34.83. Please note that the compensation details listed in U.S. role postings reflect the base salary only and do not include bonuses or benefits. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range and additional aspects of the compensation/benefits package for this position during the hiring process.
