This position provides support for editors on the US Journals Editorial team. This position also has specific responsibilities related to journals on Editor’s lists as well as departmental project responsibilities.
This position is based in our Thousand Oaks, California office (remote work not permitted for this role).
The role of the Marketing Associate is to support the goals of the Corwin Marketing department. The Marketing Associate will help implement marketing plans and programs developed by the Marketing Managers within specified budget and deadlines. The Marketing Associate will also assist with email campaigns, advertisements, collateral, brochures, webinars, sales support needs, the website, and social media. The position requires a minimum 1-2 years marketing or other relevant job experience. This job requires excellent organization and planning skills, the ability to prioritize between multiple tasks, a strong proficiency in written and verbal communication, and an aptitude for attention to detail.

The Library Sales Manager is responsible for selling SAGE products primarily via phone and in-person visits and achieving revenue targets within an academic market. Key responsibilities include identifying prospects; calling upon library decision makers at the collection development and more senior executive levels; acquiring new customers; analyzing the status of accounts and conducting financial analysis of accounts as required, including forecasts and accruals; and contributing to the streamlinging of departmental process that result in efficiencies and cost-savings to SAGE.

The Senior Financial Analyst will support financial reporting, analysis, and business modelling. Working collaboratively in a highly team based environment, this role requires a deep understanding of accounting (GAAP, revenue recognition, consolidation accounting, and intercompany processes), strong technical finance skills, and highly developed problem solving and strategic thinking skills.
The Library Relations Manager is responsible for providing customer outreach, training, and support to the library community on behalf of SAGE and coordinating pre- and post-sales support to the Library Sales department.
The Library Relations Manager serves as a member of the Library Relations & Faculty Outreach Team within the U.S. Library Sales department. This position plays a key role in providing sales support to the Library Sales team, primarily by developing and executing training programs for customers, potential customers, and library sales professionals on the full SAGE and CQ Press product protfolio. The Library Relations Manager provides departmental support by developing strong relationships between SAGE and the library marketplace, and follows up on customer and industry issues from Sales Managers, Account Developers, and inbound inquiries from customers. The Library Relations Manager will work with internal stakeholders, including Marketing, Editorial, PMD, Account Support, Online Technical Support, and others as needed to provide outstanding customer service to both internal as well as external constituents.
