The Development Manager, North America will report to the Director of Development, North America for Technology from SAGE. You will lead and implement a growth strategy for our library business and partnerships in territories and customer segments assigned to you, in an exciting business development and library partnerships role for a growth business.
You will be an essential part of the Technology from SAGE sales team in North America, working with colleagues based in the US, the UK and the Netherlands. Your role is one of the first to bring together sales responsibilities across three previously separate businesses (Talis, Lean Library and Sciwheel). You will also be collaborating closely with a number of sales colleagues in the wider SAGE business. This will give you access to best-in-class practices and tools, but more importantly to excellent experience and advice as you take our sales growth forward.

The Corporate Events internship provides clerical and administrative support for a busy Corporate Events and Community Relations department. The Author Marketing department is vital to supporting authors by delivering resources to demystify the publication process and educating authors in publishing skills and processes.

The Customer Success Specialist is dedicated to maintaining and supporting relationships with new and existing faculty and other key customers, providing exemplary customer service to ensure long-term customer satisfaction. The CSS proactively works with customers to uncover needs and create upsell and cross-selling opportunities, with the ultimate goal of increasing revenue and driving customer retention. The CSS is also responsible for providing customer support in facilitating book requests, accessing supplementary resources, and assisting in product-related technical support.
The CSS demonstrates expertise in content and technical areas and applies in-depth knowledge to manage the successful adoption and ongoing usage of our products. This position takes an active role in departmental success by being a positive and productive team member, which includes building and maintaining consultative relationships with customers as well as internal partners and cross functional teams.
This is a hybrid position and it is expected to work out of the Thousand Oaks, CA office 2 days per week.
The Account Executive calls on Higher Education faculty within a designated geographical territory and conducts sales calls to assist them with matching SAGE content and technology products to their course requirements. Key responsibilities include conducting well-structured consultative sales calls, demonstrating technology, establishing relationships with faculty members/bookstore/IT personnel, being able to manage and systematically work a large territory as well as maintain our sales database (MSCRM), which ultimately results in successful adoption of SAGE content and technology products. This position is based out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; must be able to travel overnight during peak selling seasons.
SAGE Publishing seeks a Product Associate (PA) to join the College Product and Market Development department. The College Division publishes textbooks and digital educational products in social science fields, including Political Science, Sociology, Anthropology, Communication, Business and Management, Psychology, and Education.
PAs manage the development of several titles from project signing through to product launch and publication. PAs interact with authors, production, marketing, and sales staff to relay messages, follow-up on requests, and anticipate the needs of multiple stakeholders. The work is project-based, fast-paced, and above all, collaborative.
The role is best suited to individuals who are flexible, adaptive, and passionate about higher education and the power and impact of social science research. No publishing experience is required, but an interest in publishing is a plus! This is a full-time, entry-level position that requires a minimum of 12 months of experience in an office. The position is flexible enough for a PA to move into Marketing and Sales positions, or deeper into our Content Development team.
SAGE has offices in Thousand Oaks, CA and Washington, DC, however the PA position may be performed remotely.
