Corwin is currently seeking a Business Development Specialist. This position is responsible for: identifying strategic partnerships and prospective clients to generate and increase sales opportunities; creating sales proposals and business development collateral; delivering strategic sales presentations; and leading market research and client outreach projects to increase the overall sell-through of Corwin eLearning products.
The Product Assistant will support the Product Management Department in the creation and ongoing management of online products for the academic library market. They will own the product reporting process, adapting the reports based on feedback from the team, and coordinating regular creation and desemination fo the reports. They will support the Washington DC-based members of the Online Products Team with administrative duties. They will assist Product Managers developing new products and monitoring and improving live products. They will carry out projects as assigned including market research, product testing, developing requirements for product enhancements, and process improvements. They will support clear documentation for the development process, including templates.
This position is part of the global Online Products Team at SAGE, working in a dynamic part of the business to significantly increase SAGE’s online product portfolio for our library customers. Products for the library market at SAGE are developed with external technology partners.
This position is responsible for working directly with the Production Operations team to produce and ensure the quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness of all SAGE US and globally sourced products. Products include print, video, and other digital media products for Corwin, CQ Press, and SAGE books, journals, marketing, and editorial services. This position requires data entry, reporting, use of Excel, and project management.
- Supports warehouse operation by pulling product from shelves and delivering to picking area for customer orders. Keeps primary picking area restocked. Removes out-of-print products from the bulk and picking shelves. Also responsible for completing various material handling projects like shrink-wrapping and re-boxing custom kits. Checks products for defects.

· Acquire, develop, and publish new books, digital products, revisions of current books, in assigned discipline(s) to meet targeted goals and strategic list plan. · Work in conjunction with current and prospective authors, contributing editors, freelancers, and SME's as well as internal staff including editorial assistants, product management, production, marketing and sales, art/design, IT and Contracts to accomplish acquisitions, development, digital and transmittal tasks.· Responsible for hiring, development, and management of editorial assistant, or other editorial staff as assigned.· Set standards of professionalism and leadership in interactions with all internal staff.

The Professional Learning Consultant is responsible for continuing to build Corwin’s brand as a full service provider in the K-12 space by offering consulting work with clients in the field, supporting other Corwin consultants, creating new content, and assisting the organization’s sales and marketing efforts.
The Product Manager will help lead the creation and ongoing management of the Data suite of products, for sale into the library market. They will lead projects and products as assigned including market research, product testing, and the definition and delivery of product enhancements, and new product development. They will demonstrate a deep curiosity in all aspects of their products and the market, working diligently to build a strong knowledge of the target users and buyers.
