Corwin/Sage is embarking on an exciting new product initiative to develop innovative online learning models for K12 teachers. This role will be an essential leader and contributor to the long-term vision and execution of this exciting teacher professional learning initiative. The Program Manager is responsible for the strategic development and management of Corwin’s online course business, which focuses on teacher licensure and recertification, as well as cohort-based and personalized professional learning opportunities supported and organized by schools and districts. The Program Manager oversees course and content development, engages with Corwin authors, leads project management of key business operations, and business line roadmap planning to ensure that Corwin’s online courses meet and exceed the needs of educators, map to and fulfill state-specific requirements, or other accreditation needs and opportunities. The Program Manager will lead the design and development of innovative, engaging online learning design with a focus on delivering job-embedded and relevant learning opportunities in support teachers and their students. The Program Manager, working closely with the Senior Program Director for eLearning, will represent Corwin among multiple departments and work teams across Corwin and SAGE and will coordinate a variety of cross-functional projects or tasks to launch and scale this new product line.
The Library Sales District Manager role includes supervisory duties and the responsibility to directly manage sales team members – support or direct sales staff. This role is responsible for driving the sales of our library products within a district and to provide management support, supervision and coaching to assigned department staff members. Key responsibilities include driving sales in district by identifying prospects, calling upon decision makers about library needs, presenting library product alternatives persuasively and providing accurate sales tracking and forecasting. In addition the role includes assisting department management with the training, development and coaching of sales team members along with directly managing up to 5 sales team personnel and to assume other assigned projects based upon departmental or assigned territory needs.
The Senior Marketing Manager is a leadership role within the College Marketing Department. The Senior Marketing Manager assists the Director with strategic planning, takes responsibility for higher-level and strategic departmental projects, and mentors staff. The Senior Marketing Manager builds strong working relationships with other key departments, and communicates the College Marketing department’s strategies and plans to other departments and divisions within the company. The Senior Marketing Manager takes a lead role in devising strategies for effective sales direction and support.
The Senior Marketing Manager is specifically responsible for devising and implementing sales and marketing strategy and plans including market entry, market development, sales training and first edition readiness/launch plans within assigned disciplines (Economics). The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for maximizing sales by fully exploiting the potential of all sales and marketing channels, a key element of which is the direction of successful sales activity. The position requires a minimum of 7 years proven experience in higher education publishing, including some combination of experience in sales and marketing, marketing planning and management, targeted direct response marketing and analysis, brand development/management content marketing, digital marketing, social media as well as budgeting and forecasting. Specfic subject area experience in Economics is strongly preferred. Success is measured as follows: sales against budget, development and implementation of strategic list and title marketing plans, the control of direct marketing and complementary review copy costs..

The Education Sales Consultant acts as an adviser to Principals and System administrators on how to incorporate various Corwin PD Resources in their district PD plans. The Education Sales Consultant is the key driver of the proposal writing process for their customers and is charged with overseeing the execution process once business is won.

This position is open to current college students who are interested in pursuing a career in publishing. The intern will learn about publishing in general and also gain hands on experience in the Library Editorial department. Work between 20-25 hours per week.
As Video Development Editor you will work with the other colleagues in the Video and Library Teams, as well as wider College Editorial teams to ensure that the SAGE Video product is meeting the pedagogical, learning and research needs of its end users in all its forms. A very important role in the Video Editorial group, this position is designed to inform the front-end design, type, appearance, scheduling for publication and market focus of its streaming video content and products.

The Legal Department Intern provides administrative support for the Corporate Counsel group of the Legal Department. This position will also provide support on special projects, as needed.
Candidates MUST be a student able to work out of our office in Thousand Oaks, CA.
The Administrative Support Temporary will primarily provide administrative support to the Executive Assistant with various tasks related to preparation for the annual Sales Meeting in January. In addition, other tasks may include assisting Commercial Sales with filing journals, preparing tear sheets for invoicing, and collating invoices. Duties will be assigned as needs arise based on priority and urgency. This will include a variety of administrative tasks specific to the group such as data entry, spreadsheet tracking, conducting research utilizing various websites to gather information, and compiling information. Work schedule is very flexible, 10-15 hours per week.
