Support end-users and faculty experts by conducting product demonstrations
The Editorial Assistant, Peer Review will support the operational process for specific journals to ensure that proper peer review is conducted in an effective and efficient manner.
- You will work with external journal editors to ensure papers follow robust peer review processes
- You may work on established titles, as well as drive and support the launch of new journals, where appropriate
- You will work with internal and external staff to ensure the regular and timely publication of articles and issues
- You will work effectively with the Peer Review team, colleagues in Journals Editorial, Marketing, Production, and others throughout the organisation
- You will be expected to maintain high quality communication and excellent relationships with journal editors, authors, reviewers, and other SAGE staff.
As Senior Product Manager for a suite of products in the academic library market, you will be responsible for all products in the suite at varying stages of development. You will work with partners in Editorial to evolve new product ideas into practical commercial propositions. You will lead the execution of product development, delivering high quality business plans, launching first-rate products, and pursuing necessary product improvements with a focus on commercial success, in response to market needs and in collaboration with your product team. You will think big about the opportunities for your products, while focusing on practical, achievable deliverables to improve and grow SAGE’s online offering. You and your team will drive product improvements, redesigns, and new product launches through the appropriate processes and will be accountable for successful decision making. You will demonstrate a deep curiosity in all aspects of your product, working diligently to build a strong knowledge of the target users and buyers.
This position is part of the global Product Management Department at SAGE, working in a dynamic part of the business focused on significantly increasing SAGE’s online product portfolio for our library customers. Products for the library market at SAGE are developed with external technology partners.
The Product Assistant will support the Product Management Department in the creation and ongoing management of online products for the academic library market. They will own the product reporting process, adapting the reports based on feedback from the team, and coordinating regular creation and desemination fo the reports. They will support the Washington DC-based members of the Online Products Team with administrative duties. They will assist Product Managers developing new products and monitoring and improving live products. They will carry out projects as assigned including market research, product testing, developing requirements for product enhancements, and process improvements. They will support clear documentation for the development process, including templates.

This position requires overnight travel (40-45%) during key selling periods.
The Senior Producer creates innovative and pedagogically appropriate videos for SAGE through creative storytelling, whether for products or internal use. The Senior Producer leads in writing and editing scripts for animated videos, as well as overseeing field shoots in a variety of settings, including in a classroom environment. As such, experience in creating videos for higher education or in a publishing environment is preferred. This position includes the supervision of the Production Assistant.
As Content Developmental Editor, Video you will work with the other colleagues in the Video and Library Teams, as well as wider College Editorial teams to ensure that the SAGE Video product is meeting the pedagogical, learning and research needs of its end users in all its forms. A very important role in the Video Editorial group, this position is designed to inform the front-end design, type, appearance, scheduling for publication and market focus of its streaming video content and products.

This position serves as the senior PHP Developer responsible for the overall architecture and long-term strategy of SAGE’s Drupal platform. Responsibilities include building strong relationships with stakeholders to create a long-term strategic roadmap for Drupal applications; overseeing and setting priorities for internal and external developers; supporting and documenting integrations with back-end systems, such as CRM and financial systems; analyzing and defining technical requirements; providing back-end/module development for complex enhancements; assisting with development priorities and sprints; maintaining Drupal software and source code repository; and creating robust back-up, escalation and disaster recovery plans.
