The Financial Analyst is responsible for executing recurring reports, developing ad hoc reports, and designing analytical models. The Financial Analyst manages all headcount life cycle planning and tracking, including detailed payroll reconciliations that feed the forecast and continuous monitoring of staffing changes. The Financial Analyst participates with another analyst to support department budget managers, particularly around forecast and planning processes.
The Media and Product Specialist is responsible for the sales of print, electronic, custom and technology products to colleges and universities by working with local sales representatives in assigned territories. This Specialist position will focus on winning large and more complex adoptions through focus on major markets, will be heavily involved in product and technology presentations, will provide coaching and strategizing with sales representatives, will be involved in training for sales staff and provide after the sales support for large customers. In addition, the Media and Product Specialist will work closely with our marketing, editorial teams and product management teams to create strategies, drive sales, and provide market feedback. In addition, the Specialist will stay current with industry trends and works cross-departmentally to help SAGE maintain a strong presence in the ever changing, fast paced world of publishing.

The role of the Marketing Associate is to support the goals of the Corwin Marketing department. The Marketing Associate will help plan and implement marketing plans and programs developed by the Marketing Managers the Marketing Associate supports within specified budget and deadlines. The Marketing Associate will also assist with sales support needs as well as associations, the website, and social media. Candidates for this position must have minimum 1-2 years marketing or other relevant job experience. This job requires excellent organization and planning skills including the ability to prioritize between multiple tasks, a strong proficiency in written and verbal communication, and an aptitude for attention to detail.

As part of the PR & Public Affairs Global team, the PR Associate will manage the creation and dissemination of research news and corporate announcements to the media and other internal and external stakeholders through press releases, blog posts, social media, and other new mediums. Additionally, the Associate will use online tools and social media outlets to monitor PR activity around SAGE’s brand, products and publications.This will include daily logging and analytics of the SAGE brand, media, and social media campaigns.
The PR Associate will make important contributions to the work of a major international academic publisher and as such, will be called to work independently to demonstrate creativity, problem-solving skills, and SAGE Publishing values, serving as the champion of those values in all communications. They will be required to proactively raise new ideas and discover and address concerns in the support of departmental and companywide goals and to work independently in support of them, reporting to the PR, Public Affairs & Conventions manager and with support from other managers and colleagues. The Information Security Analyst will be responsible for assessing compliance with internal and external security requirements, identifying risks, and communicating the security posture to Technology management and other managers across the business including Legal and HR. The Information Security Analyst will act as the subject matter expert for Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance.
As Acquisitions Editor, Video you will be responsible for developing the strategy, acquiring and developing the content for an agreed number and size of video subject collections per year for the academic library market and some non-academic markets too. You will be the strategic product lead for designated video collections, leading them from first inception and approval, all the way to launch (and beyond), representing them both internally (e.g. at sales conferences) and externally (e.g. on some library customer visits).
Using a mixture of strong acquisitions, editorial, market research and relationship management skills you will be someone able to work expertly and strategically to deliver upon the content goals for each subject collection. You will work intelligently with other members of the SAGE Video team, for example the Licensing Editor in relation to third-party content, film production companies, Editorial Boards of the video collections, academics and Licensors to ensure that video content commissioned is meeting the needs of its audiences and end users as effectively as possible. You will also work effectively across the business to ensure that proper communication with relevant departments is maintained and schedules are kept in relation to content delivery.
This position is part of the Global Video Editorial team at SAGE, working in a dynamic part of the business to significantly increase SAGE’s online product portfolio for our library customers.
Based within the Publishing Technologies department, this role will help deliver detailed web analytics tagging strategies and support the Corporate Website content management system as a super user.
The Editorial Assistant, Peer Review will support the operational process for specific journals to ensure that proper peer review is conducted in an effective and efficient manner.
- You will work with external journal editors to ensure papers follow robust peer review processes
- You may work on established titles, as well as drive and support the launch of new journals, where appropriate
- You will work with internal and external staff to ensure the regular and timely publication of articles and issues
- You will work effectively with the Peer Review team, colleagues in Journals Editorial, Marketing, Production, and others throughout the organisation
- You will be expected to maintain high quality communication and excellent relationships with journal editors, authors, reviewers, and other SAGE staff.
