The Marketing Manager will develop and implement creative marketing strategies for the company’s Education products and services.  This individual will work closely with the Sales, Events, Operations and Professional Learning teams to successfully lead the development of new ideas and marketing strategies to improve sales materials, direct marketing campaigns, integrate sales and marketing strategies and improve sales presentations. Marketing experience within education is preferred but not a pre-requisite.

As part of the PR, Public Affairs & Conventions team, the PR Intern will assist in the creation and dissemination of research news and corporate announcements to the media, public, and other internal and external stakeholders through press releases, blog posts, and social media. This support will include researching industry topics, writing, editing, and creative thinking in the creation of a wide variety of corporate messages.   Working closely with the PR, Public Affairs and Conventions Manager and the PR Assistant, the PR intern will make important contributions to the work of a major international academic publisher.Through this work, he or she will gain a valuable introduction to a career in communications and publishing.

Excellent communication and project management skills are essential. This position includes a minimum of 35% overnight travel - maximum 50%.

This position provides administrative support for the Journals Editorial Department specifically assisting in the launch, support, and maintenance of SAGE Track sites and by assisting with various peer review projects. The main goals of this position are as follows: - Provide support on SAGE Track by building and launching sites, training editors through demonstrations (live and via phone and the web), supporting editors, reviewers and authors as needed, and making required configuration changes to sites. - Provide support required to maintain SAGE Track sites through configuration updates. - Provide managing editor services on at least one SAGE journal. - Provide support on various editorial and peer review projects, as needed.
